Opulence Unveiled: February Edition

As February unfolds, New York City is buzzing with cultural moments you won’t want to miss. From Infinite Harmony at The Oculus to the debut of Redwood starring Idina Menzel, and the much-anticipated SNL 50th Anniversary celebration at Rockefeller Center, there’s plenty to experience this month.

On the real estate front, Palm Beach saw a surge in luxury home sales last month, with $5M+ transactions tripling YOY.

January’s average sales price in Manhattan landed at $2,153,482, reflecting an 8.6% increase YOY. While prices remained strong, buyer activity slowed slightly—688 contracts were signed, marking a 6.1% drop from December but still 1% higher YOY. The average days on market was 176, a 7.9% decrease from December and relatively steady YOY, indicating that well-priced homes are still moving, but buyers remain selective.

Brooklyn’s market remained strong, with prices up 20.5% YOY to $1.37M and 2.9% from December. Homes in Brooklyn moved faster, with the average days on market at 117, down 4.9% from December and 12.7% YOY, suggesting buyers are acting quickly on desirable properties.
